The Higher Education Package allows to give departments their own "website inside a website". These parts of the organizational website can be individualized but remain recognizable as part of the organization.

Organizations can also decide to use only some of these options. All these customizations can be easily achieved using the TYPO3 Constant Editor.
As you can see, the appearance of the page you are currently reading has a different appearance than the main pages and uses a different menu and different content in the footer.
